“No trial has come to you but what is human.”

(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Dear Friends –

All the miseries of life are man-made.  Almighty God created a perfect world, material and spiritual, but we humans have managed through ignorance and evil to affect constant turmoil of one kind or another into daily life. Decades of misuse to our environment has resulted in a climate change that has brought forth humongous hurricanes, flooding, and droughts we are barely surviving.  The predominance of evil has invaded every community, and class of people to such a level of insecurity that fear dominates every lifestyle.  But, “It Is God’s Will” preach the Milk Toast Christians who think erroneously, that since He allowed it to happen, that means He wanted it to happen!  NO!  I have argued this repeatedly in my writings, that trials or crosses are NOT “GIFTS FROM GOD” as they say, but are most assuredly instigated by wrong or evil human beings. God does not zap out all things horrible before they happen to give us a Utopian existence!  Whatever our stupidity, or the devil’s evil contrivances plot, God selects or chooses to allow such bad in order to bring about a greater good for its having happened…  please intuit that He miraculously has that kind of power!  Remember, “Utopia” was His plan in the Garden of Eden, but then original sin occurred and Paradise was lost. However, true to His Word, God brought about redemption from sin through Christ’s ultimate sacrifice. We Adams and Eves of the world continue to sin and bring about all things horrible, but Thank God, we have Him to rectify our ignorance and wickedness, even when a vast amount of people can’t see Divine Providence occurring everyday to rectify our dilemmas.

We owe our Heavenly Father, as His faithful children, the free-will offering of our talent and treasure to fight all the ignorance and nastiness this world generates.  When someone tries to inflict wrong on you, fight it with every ounce of strength Christ will give you.  Immorality grows and gains strength when Milk Toast Christians misguidedly tolerate and do nothing. When, in your scope of the world, you see that power exists in the wrong hands, pursue every avenue that can expose and eradicate its existence.  Support with talent and treasure any group that promotes and defends His truths and traditional family values, especially church sponsored; if none exists in your area, start one!  Scrutinize everything you read or see, and when it’s message is questionable, condemn it publicly where possible and especially privately with family and friends.  Point out wrong and immorality everywhere it exists; evil thrives in darkness, so by your exposing it to continual light, it will wither and fade with God’s help.

In order for Almighty God to rectify our self-made dilemmas, we must pray and ask for His help.  Prayer for a vaccine for this pandemic has resulted in drugs being expedited beyond the normal channels with rectification now seen possible all because it is well within God’s power and omniscience to influence the minds and processes of medical scientists.  Hearts that are broken are tended with loving concern by the Divine Physician who can create a new heart with joy and purpose once again.  One with job insecurities can plead for His help, only to find new doors opening or retraining offered from sources never imagined, aka a miracle, the work of God’s hands. Injustice fought with God’s help, can bring truth to light with such strength and power, that wrong is reversed by a loving and powerful God. We should never forget that “Nothing is impossible for Almighty God,” but it certainly is for we mortals who create our own problems. Admitting that is our first step onto the road back to Paradise.

MILK TOAST CHRISTIANS

Many church pastors, for hundreds of years, have been preaching a mild-mannered Jesus Christ; a masterful teacher that went around leaving vast audiences spellbound by His wisdom, performing miraculous cures for their physical and spiritual benefit, feeding the hungry followers by the thousands, and always embracing the little children in the enjoyment of their beautiful innocence.  All of that is absolutely positively true, and that alone, as some pastors espouse, makes Jesus Christ out to be some sort of cool, calm, collected, Mr. Milk Toast… and that is wrong!  Because, He is so much more than that!

For you non-Christians, it is important to point out that Jesus Christ as the Son of God was sent to show us The Father in whose image we are created, and by our Baptism into Christianity, we declare that belief and endeavor to follow in our big brother Christ’s example to be just like our Heavenly Father.   We are certainly not immediately made into exact copies of Jesus at Baptism, but that image is planted in our souls to grow and mature into the Divine Image over the years with careful Christian education.  IF that education provided requires our following the Mr. Milk-Toast image, as some churches profess, then we end up with mild-mannered Christians who never attain to Christ’s main mission, which is to fight and die to eradicate evil!

Yes, Christ was the cool and calm Prophet most of the time… BUT, He also got very angry, totally exasperated, verbally cursed, and labeled the hypocrites and unbelievers as doomed for rejecting Him and even cried the tears of futility for the unbelievers…  and that image, that emotional condemning Christ image, few pastors preach from the pulpit as the complete likeness of Christ we must follow to be true copies of The Son and The Father.  That is why our culture has gotten so rotten, true Christians are not following in the TOTAL image of Jesus and stamping out evil everywhere we see it in our existence!  We are not taking up Christ’s whip and cleaning out the selfishness of the world… we tolerate evil instead of getting exasperated and angry with it and calling it out for extinction!  All that the mild-mannered Christians do is nothing but to cry over the sorry state-of-affairs when they should get off their prayerful knees and be God’s hands, feet, and voice to challenge evil by confrontation, just as Christ exemplified. When you follow in Christ’s footsteps, you must follow everything He did… and that is the hard part for Milk-Toast Christians. It takes no effort to be mild-mannered and easy-going, but to get past just praying to God for His intercession in the problems of the world, everyone should start praying to God that He gives YOU the strength and courage to be just like Christ… the perfect and total Christ… one that gets angry with hypocrisy… exasperated over disbelief… anguishes for loss… and willingly champions a cause that will kill him. Hard to do, yes, but not impossible with The Father’s help, and being just like Christ, the complete and perfect Christ, will take you to such a fullness of life that you cannot experience any other way than by following in His complete and exact footsteps.  That is because the absolute Christ experiences all, not just the good and easy part but the most difficult as well…   He knows great sorrow to the balance of perfect love. He hurts with rejection against the joy of belief.  He riles in anger opposite moments of great peace.  He falters in abandonment contrary to the strength of union.  He is recognized for truth while hated for evil.  He is the extreme of all virtue… while enduring the fullness of all vice… perfectly and completely, He lives the total limits of life. Can you imagine being a replica of that absolute Christ… or even a poor copy… or would you rather stay an ineffective Milk Toast Christian?
